Shout It Out

A great way to get the word out of your website or blog is to BackLink it on a shoutbox. A shoutbox is a free service like cbox or shoutbox that allows users of a website to post short messages to each other instantly!
Some shoutboxes like cbox.ws have direct links to the script so you don't even have to visit the site to post your message and live link. Please be careful not to spam these shoutboxes and to write that the site is interesting even though you have never seen it before. There is the option to ban IP addresses so if you make it obvious to webmaster that you are just posting for the live backlink your hard work will go down the drain.
You can aquire these direct shoutbox links by searching on Google or Yahoo for ( shoutbox name referral links). This searches open site statisics for a referral link of a specific shout box. Just enter the shoutbox name and the words referral links.
Here is a starter list of cbox shoutbox urls. You may want to sign up and post your cbox shout box on your website before beginning posting on these shoutboxes. This list is a list of high traffic sites that blog hop posting their link in the shoutbox. If you do the same thing as they are than you will have tons of people visiting your site to post their link as well. In return you get traffic and a higher ranking in the search engines!
